Who are we?
Go on, then: a little gossip about who's behind Turia Rock Club.
We're David Incertis and Ernesto Cidad. Dads, friends, rockers, entrepreneurs, music geeks and plenty more.
We studied together at university (Chemical Engineering, in case you're curious), but we lost touch. Then life and rock brought us back together in 2023 at a gig where David joined in on bass.
That's where we started playing together and several projects were born. Among them, our band, The Turia Blackbirds, and later Turia Rock Club.
We created this Club around one central idea: to support and promote live music in our area (Camp de Túria and Valencia), with the premise of enjoying ourselves and making sure everyone else does too.
We don't want this project to become one more burden in our lives. We want it to be a pleasure. So we're taking it easy, because we know it's hard to get to everything (that's what having kids does to you — David has 3 little ones, Ernesto 2).
We have lots of ideas: some will see the light of day and others will have to wait.
For now, we're kicking off with this new website. We hope you've joined the Club (it's free) and that you'll share it with your people so there are more and more Turia Rockers.
